Progressed Moon
The progressed Moon and the converse progressed Moon move about 1 degree a month and can indicate the timing of opportunities or events that are related to karma, respectively. Aspects from the progressed or converse Moon to natal planets are revealing. The phases of the progressed Moon relative to the progressed Sun can indicate years of action on a new inspiration, how that inspiration can be put to good use or a period of review.

Intercepted houses
In some house systems, signs called intercepting signs fall entirely within houses. Intercepting signs are often thought of as presenting frustrations but they offer the soul opportunities to develop its own way of expressing the energies of those signs. Interception also modifies the interpretation of any planets that fall within intercepting signs. In addition, the presence of intercepting signs means that other signs fall on two house cusps, again offering specific opportunities for soul growth.

Squares and oppositions
When the energy contained in a square is mastered, not only may the apparent challenges of this aspect be overcome but the energy can be used constructively. An opposition offers three ways of working: from either pole of the opposition as well as integrating the energy along that axis. Local space astrology
In local space astrology, the celestial co-ordinates of planets are converted into a horizontal co-ordinate system. The positions of the planets can then be located around the 360° of the horizon. Local space astrology maps planetary energies onto the Earth’s surface. This can be in your home and the wider environment where you live. Placing objects on a planetary line in the home or following the line beyond the home can activate that planet’s energy.

Solar returns
A solar return horoscope is the only horoscope that can be based on the place of residence. A solar return may be used like a mini-horoscope that is valid for about a year. When considered in conjunction with the natal chart, it indicates which parts of the natal chart are likely to be highlighted during the year.
